Work with X3 but have a 30 day trial version now of X8 .... trying to create a vignette around a custom shape I created ( not a circle or square option corel lets you select ) but a folder I built and power clipped a photo inside of it and now want the vignette to follow around the outside of that new shape. Cannot find an option or process for the vignette to follow the shape I built, it limits me to choose from one of the standards corel offers. Any help would be appreciated or a NO can't be done
Thanks - Mark
Hi Mark,
I've always used PhotoPaint for vignettes. I only need add a mask to the image. Then I fill the background with whatever I want the vignette to fade into.1. I initially paint on the mask with the Interactive Gradient tool. 2. I then paint on it using a soft brush.3. I end up by blurring the image on the mask to erase paint marks and get a more gradual fade of the vignette. Here's a vignette of the resident genius.Phil
hello phil .... yes I had a buddy that works with photoshop suggest using paint options to arrive at my desired look, believe it is quickest.
thanks Mark
This is exactly what I'm trying to do, I'm losing it when I change the drop shadow white. I'm using X7. Any suggestions?
