I'm so frustrated and I've talked to about 10 Coreldraw Techs and not one person can help me!! I have Coreldraw x8 and create my Art designs in CMYK.....then I export them to PNG...& put them on T-Shirts in my Online Web Store.
I export them as a PNG (so I won't have a big white box background around my designs)...but the colors when printed on the T-Shirts become"Dull" and "Washed Out"!! :0((
Other people who have stores where I do...have T-Shirts that look great and they have bright colors. I don't know what I'm doing wrong?? Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated!!
Thank you...Kerry
First PNG does not support CMYK so when you convert to PNG you get a conversion and you need to embed a profile to the PNG file.
When someone imports your PNG file they have either honor the embedded or use your embedded profile to convert to a color space of their choice.
I would use the RGB color model to create your art because the direct to garment devices of the day usually do a fine RGB to their media profile.
Thank you for responding! Sorry....not new to art but new to putting products on the web & PNG. So you are saying I should design my designs in...RGB then Export them in PNG...like I was doing? I have a bull elk design that was created in Photo Paint and when I convert it to PNG ...it looks really dull and muted also?
