Often I want to see the image without the mask border interference, but keep the selection (without the rigamarole of saving the mask). There must be a way to hide it without dropping the selection, but it's really well hidden. Any help?
Mask>Show Mask Marquee?
Ctrl+H is the shortcut in the default workspace.
There is also (at least in 2018) a button for this on the standard toolbar. The button toggles the status and visually indicates the status.
