Corel Font Manager X8 frizzes

Are you using Suitcase Fusion app?

Please follow the steps provided to remove the Type 1 fonts installed as shortcuts if it is the case for you. If not, then please check if you have one of fonts provided in the list installed on your system and uninstall it.

My trial period on Suitcase Fusion is over and application is uninstalled.
I'll try to find a way to remove Type 1 fonts as shortcuts.
Will post note after about it. Thank you.

In one of the posts Claude explains how to remove the Type 1 fonts.

Hello,

Do you mean when you launch Font Manager you don't see the fonts?
When you launch CorelDRAW and drop the font list you don't see the fonts?
How many do you see in the font list or Font Manager?

If you see only few that means you have Type 1 fonts installed as shortcuts. Close all apps before removing the Type 1 fonts. You can also use the app you used to install fonts to remove them like Bitstream Font manager for example.

In the interest of closure, I had a remote assistance session with Andrei and I could confirm that he requires some of the fixes planned for SP1.

I also identified some performance issue when attempting to delete a large amount of fonts at the same time. I'd recommend that you limit yourself to a few dozens at a time.

I did able to finish clean c:\windows\font by small groups using Corel Font Manager X8.
After about 5,000 fonts left all process goes noticeably easy.
Now its showing 917 fonts as system or protected, instead 8,489. (70 installed)
This increase all system performance and response overall.
Trying reorganize all fonts and waiting for SP1. Thank you for your help!
