Hi,
I want to add a font via CFM from a specific folder outside which I do not added to CFM – because all its fonts will be visible in CorelDraw, slowing it down and maybe causing crashes (it's horrible!).
Is there no import option or similar as in the Bitstream font manager of x6?
I installed x10 – sorry, x8 of course! – yesterday and I am not very happy...
Thanks!

According with Claude, CorelDRAW X8 allows up to 1 179 612 fonts.
I believe it's enough for most users

That means you will not use CorelDRAW X8 anymore, since FontManager is part of the entire suite, although you don't use use it as a separate application

So, based on your logic as illustrated in your reply, if I had said that I don't use Photo-Paint, you would assume that It means I will not use CorelDRAW X* anymore, since Photo-Paint is part of the entire suite, although I don't use it as a separate application? That's some really convoluted logic.
No, it's not the same. You can install CorelDARW without PhotoPaint, or even install it but don't use never. Same with CorelCapture and other programs, including FontNavigator on older versions. But it's not the same with the new FontManager, according with Claude, who's the expert (it's not "my" personal logic)
"FontManager is just an user interface on top of our Font Engine Sub-System. CorelDRAW can not even run without the Font Engine. Therefore, when you uninstall FontManager, all it does is remove the user interface, nothing else."
