Make the outline of the shape straight

The preceding posts offer cures for the problem.

The reason for the broken line is that your image is most likely in bitmap format rather than vector format. Most likely, it has not been drawn perfectly vertical or horizontal. The shift is caused by the line itself moving over a pixel or more. The lower the resolution, the more obviously will you see the jagged edges (jaggies) in wireframe mode. You will see jaggies for any line which is not perfectly horizontal or vertical in wireframe for low resolution bitmaps.


In enhanced view, the program seems to resample the bit mapped image to a much higher resolution. Thus the jaggies are still there but they are too small to see.

I'm not certain how DRAW X8 handles vector images. However, jaggies on lines which are not perfectly vertical or horizontal will always have jaggies. You just don't see them for high resolution images.
