Pop up ads continue to appear outside of Graphics Suite X8. I have become so aggravated I may entirely delete my CorelDraw suite and move on. I have tried all of the instructions and hints and tips I have seen (i.e. Welcome Screen > Product Details > Message Settings > uncheck, uncheck) and I still have the pop ups - two this morning and I haven't even opened the program. Has anyone found an alternative solution?

In a comment left by someone else at the link I provided in my previous post (it's no longer there since two days ago???), there was one additional step you can try. Once you delete the Messages folder in appdata as instructed by the Knowledge Base article above, you may find that Corel replaces that deleted Messages folder in the future. To prevent the folder from being recreated, create an empty file with the same name -- not a folder, but a file. To do that, create a text file in the appdata Corel folder (right-click choose New>Text document from the context menu) and name the file Messages. Once it's created, remove the .txt extension.
No guarantees, but it works for me! I despise seeing ads when I've pay big bucks for a software. I did the above and have not seen any Corel message pop-ups in the system tray for CDGS or PaintShop Pro. Oh yeah!

Thank you so much for your input. I am testing things out and we'll see how it goes. I appreciate the quick response as it has been so very annoying!!!
Bad idea to post this info on here. Coz, when Corel finds out, you can bet they will make it harder to block on their next release.
