Im using the latest version of Corel Draw and Im struggeling to get High resolution images on my PDF exports.
What is the correct setting to get lossless images when exporting a file to PDF for print.
PDF preset "Prepressz' works for me but I also change to "Export all text as curves" under the Settings/Object tab
Why did you "Export text as curves? That's not good for Prepress, since it produce larger and more complex files. If the file has a lot of text, some RIP could have problems.
The only reason for convert to curves is when you use a restricted font, that doesn't allows to embedd on PDF. On this case, only this font should be converted to curves. On prepress is a big mistake to convert all text to curves, because you have to embed all fonts inside the PDF. And also, if you need you could edit the PDF using Acrobat with Pitstop
Hi Ariel,I also convert all text to curves. I've had many issues in the past with kerning issues. Incompatible fonts with RIP software, etc... So, I don't take any chances anymore. Fonts converted to curves never present any issues. NEVER.Sometimes if I have to mount more than 30 page documents. In that case I might take chances, but that's about it.
