We have three machines with Coreldraw 2017 upgrade installed on them. All of us get the Substitute Font message every time when opening a file. How do we fix this?
you are not alone. I also sometimes get the same message when I open a file with a font that I don’t have
I get one also that says Arial needs to be substituted...even though it is installed
That's the one. Every freakin' time.
but maybe the document use Arial TrueType and you have installed the Arial OpenType or Type1.. yes, it's the same name but it's a different font
It may even be that Microsoft has installed different versions of the same font on different machines.
