I am a screen printer. Trying to blend 2 colors of ink in a perfect square so that I can print 2 different ink color halftones on film, burn screen and print. I am having trouble because the tools I am seeing show color blend transitions. Gradients from one color to another vertically, horizontally, conical etc. I hope that I am just not seeing the correct button for a uniform square halftone. Please let me know if I am not making any sense at all!!! Thank you for any coaching!
Are you looking for a monotone screen? Assuming for screen printing make a square C50 or what ever - M50 or what ever print to separations at what ever line ruling you desire. The screen angles will automatically be different.
my customer does not want to pay for an additional color of ink, so I am trying to uniformly darken a section of their logo using the existing 2 colors of ink not including the underlay. The 2 colors are black and golden yellow ink with white underlay. At this point I am laying white flash, black over white flash, and a 50% golden yellow halftone. I am trying to eliminate the black flash step so that it is: white, flash, perfectly even golden yellow/black halftone done. I hope this remotely make sense. Thank you so much everyone for their advice and most importantly your time!!!
Without seeing the design and the area you want to darken I can't offer any suggestions.
