Is it possible to create a 3D font similar to this with the apparent juice splash around the words in CorelDraw? If so does anyone know of a tutorial on it?
That's not a font as much as it is a 3D illustration created in dedicated 3D software that does modeling, animation and rendering.In CorelDRAW you could create a 2D simulation of a 3D image like that, but it would be very labor intensive to get similar results.

That's simpler as a raster effect, Photo-PAINT, PaintShop, Sketchup, something like that.
To get believable looking, photo-realistic results it would be more accurate modeling and rendering the image in a 3D application that is capable of simulating complex particle effects, such as water, fire and smoke. Houdini is one such example.While it's technically possible to create the same illustration by hand in a pixel-based "photo editing" application the process would be painstaking to achieve something that passes for photo-realism.
