Hi All
Just wanted to know if there is an easy way to remove "hidden from view but not from print" printers marks from over a thousand files in CDGSX8. They're all pdfs that I imported all at once in order to try and do it all at once but I need to go through the layers panel, scroll down until I hit object 200 select and delete it for over a thousand files.
It's extremely tedious and I could miss a few and not know which ones I missed.
Please tell me there's something easier.
Thanks.
Might be able to create a macro to do it. Can you drop a sample pdf here or a link to one for testing?
PDF
Thanks Myron
Here's the first file. If you open the pdf in adobe you can see the printer's marks and other things but opening it in corel doesn't show a thing.
When you import these files into CorelDRAW, are these objects all on the same layer with the other objects, but are "individually hidden"?
Or are these objects on separate layers, and those layers are hidden?
If they are on hidden layers, then a macro approach to deleting those layers might work.
all on the same layer.
edit: sorry, they're on different layers. I'm just a little tired lol.
You described these objects as "hidden from view but not from print".
In my experience, "individually" hidden objects - hidden objects on visible layers - are excluded when printing or exporting.
I don't know whether that makes a difference to your situation.
