Any one else have this issue?
Notice the slant of text is more in Corel. When converted to curves, it resolves. But this is not practical when using live text.
I am not sure what other fonts this problem appears in.

I'm seeing the same thing in CorelDraw 2020 but I figured out how to solve it. This is an easy kluge but it works.
Add another character to the string of characters, then select the last character you added, and click the no-color to make the letter transparent so it doesn't print. When Corel calculates the length of the string, it apparently forgets that an italicized letter leans to the right. You can't just add a space as Corel trims it off. So add an additional letter and click the transparent color with a slash through it, which pads the string enough to avoid cutting off the right end of the final letter.
