Our company has a site licence for Corel Draw. On evers start of Corel Draw I get this window:
We want to skip this completely and forever to fulfill the german laws according privacy. How can this be done?
I too purchased a product that will not allow me to use it without giving out personal information which is unneeded to use the product and want instructions from CorelDraw on how i can use X8 without logging in. My content is on my computer/network. I do not need to get access to your content. So, provide me with instructions on now to run my purchased application without logging into your website or send a refund since there was no statement that I needed to divulge personal information to strangers so I can use a vector editing application I purchased.
To be even more clear,
1) I do NOT WANT content which is not originated within my network which may influence or possibly corrupt my work
2) I was NOT INFORMED i needed to divulge information more than is needed to purchase a legal license so I can use X8. So, i will be given instructions on how to do it or get a refund.
In what world does that sound logical?? Corel is taking lessons from the Microsoft playbook and going for complete control of the user. I used to be pro-Corel all the way, but they're joining the opposition with this mandatory sign in. There's a reason I bought a stand-alone package instead of yielding to the subscription pressures of Adobe, Microsoft and Corel. Maybe I'll reload my earlier packages.

Yes, of course. Microsoft writes the rules.
