CorelDRAW X8 has worked perfectly for me for the last 6 months no issues on Windows 10. Yesterday I was using it no problems. All of the sudden, this morning, every time I try to open a file corel immediately becomes unresponsive. I have not installed anything new since then or made any changes to Corel, just business as usual.
Upon opening a file or creating a new one, I get a perpetual loading emblem where the cursor is and can't click on anything with-in DRAW. The only way out is to hold Ctrl+Alt+Delete and end the task.
I made a screen-cast video so you can see first hand whats happening:
What I've done so far...
- Reset by holding F8 on startup.
- Shutdown PC and restarted.
- Checked for updates for both Windows and Corel (100% up to date).
Good to know as I sent a link to this post to Corel. I'm wondering why your system isn't automatically dumping files. Mine (as in all my systems running CorelDRAW) only has log files in it.
