I have a client who wants coreldraw4 files. I'm using coreldrawX8. I'm going to try to get him to import pdf or ai or eps. Is there a recommended file type I should send?
(As you probably know; cdrX8 only saves down to cdr11)
File type will depend on a few things. Safest bet would be pdf with fonts converted.
Yes that is what I thought would be most useable. Waiting to see if he has managed to use the pdf file.... (cdr4 wow that's so long ago....)
Did version 4 even have the ability to interpret PDF files?
gonna find out soon
Honest truth, I remember walking into a store and buying Version 4 off the shelf when that was the current version.
I am also remembering what a big deal it was for me when CorelDRAW could first interpret (i.e., convert to native CorelDRAW objects) PostScript and EPS files. I'm a little fuzzy on whether that came in Version 4 or Version 5.
