I was looking to make a live template. I make a lot of vinyl car decals and need to customize them to a persons name and/or number, is there a way this can be done? I am a newbie so if you can point me to a tutorial or white paper that would be great. below is a sample. Thank you in advance.
By "live template" you mean one that's available online via your website so customers can type in there name and then place the order?
Or just a template in general?
just a template in general. where mystics softball, the name and number fields would be blank editable areas. maybe make some in an arch or other in a bridge envelope style
I think all you would need is Text>"Fit Text to Path". Create an arc and give it a try.
Make one then go File/Save as Template. Next time you want to use it you just go File/New from Template.
Or you could use a series of macros to import any of those template files. Create a toolbar and add the macro icons to that toolbar.
