So sometimes Corel will make an object with an outline transparent and sometimes it wont. I just discovered a filter or tool within the transparency menu that allows you to choose whether to affect the object's outlines or not, but it seems to do nothing.
How do I get an object's outlines to also be affected by transparency effects?
When you activate the transparency tool, then select transparency type there should be 3 buttons that become visible in the property toolbar, one for both fill and outline, one for just fill, and one for outline only.
Hopefully this helps.
Thats what I was eluding to with the filter/ tool. I think Ive figured it out though. If there is an object power clipped inside, it wont allow transparencies on the outline. That seems to be pretty consistent in my tests.
Know if there is anyway around that? thanks!
Hello Jordan,
You're right it does appear to behave that way. If I'm understanding the issue correctly, you could always convert the outline to an object then apply the transparency to that. (object > convert outline to object)
Hopefully that helps.
I like to have the easily edible function of changing the size/ proportion of the outline while working. So I suppose Ill have to mess around with it last. once everything else is in place. thanks!
