Snapping Issue

Hi all,

I have an issue with Corel Draw 2017 which is driving me nuts.

I can draw and position nodes of curves and splines perfectly well and have all the snap options turned off as this is how i want to draw.

There seems to be an issue creating curves from power trace. Sometimes when the new objects are created from bitmaps, I cannot re-position the nodes accurately and they seem to be snapping to some unknown object.

I still have all the snap options off at this point.

I can then draw a new curve by hand and it behaves correctly and i can move the nodes without an issue.

I have compared the object properties and i can see no difference.

Why is it doing this only with some curves and how do i fix it.
