This happens regularly. I work on something and when it's ready, I "convert to Bitmap". When it's converted I go to the "right click menu" (sorry, I've been abroad too long and can't remember the english word I need). But unfortunately the "save bitmap as. . ." is greyed out. I can't think of a workaround (tried copying to a brand new document but that didn't work.)
I've been doing this for YEARS and every once in a while this happens. Anybody have an idea?

Hmmmm been using corel for nearly 25yrs. and never used that method. "When it's ready" why not just export to bmp/jpg/png etc. What need is it to convert it to bmp first then save as?
Hmmmm. You know, I never have done that. Since I've got the problem again I'll try it., Came to PC this morning and "saved as BMP" und dann "Save BMP as. . ." it worked great! For the first 7 and then the back cover - Nr. 8 was missing the "Save BMP as. . " again! I'm trying your certainly more professional way now. AND IT'S WORKING! I'm VERY grateful Myron, now I just need to print it out and tape it to the wall so I remember to start doing this way. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I missed a learning a step somewhere (I'm self taught since the 90s when I found a copy of Corel 4 among my husbands software. )
I do it all the time because once in Photo-PAINT you can really see how the image really looks and you can make corrections before saving. Photo-PAINT has in my opinion the best image display in the industry, Draws display is of a lesser quality, more like some of the RAW converters, better than acne browser but nothing like Photo-PAINT.
