Corel Draw 3.0 seems to load just fine on Windows 7 along with a BUNCH of old windows 98 programs. I can open on old Corel CDR file or create a new one just fine, but when I go to SAVE the file or EXPORT it in a different format - I get an error message - "Error writing (name of file)".
Anybody have a clue?? I did try running Corel Draw as administrator - didn't help, same message.
Thanks
Hello Albertc. I don't know about the problem you are having, but back in ver. 3 you could only have 8 characters for a file name.
My Thoughts George
You might have to use the old 8 character maximum filename... no spaces, etc.
Hello digital demon; Where we on the same path or what?????? Ha Ha Ha
Straight ahead... no bezier curve or anything.
the 'dd'
Hi - No I tried other files. Also (as mentioned) I tried opening existing old Corel Draw 3.0 files - they open fine. Can edit etc.. just can't save them after that. Something is preventing it. Also can't even export in any format. Remember some message say 'rasterizing not functioning' or something.
