hello everyone,
I need some help here, just got my corel x3 a couple of weeks ago and i was wondering if there is a simple way for me to resize a cropped image to a specific width in corel-paint ? ...so that i can save it as a JPG and upload to a website.
I used HP software before, it basically gave me a little window where i would key in the width of the image (in pixels) and it would resize it for me in porpotion. I can longer use the HP software because it does not work with my Vista laptop.
sorry, i played around with it in photo-shop, got as far as cropping the image, but can't figure out (a simple way) how to resize it.
your help is greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.
You might also check the "Files>Web Image Optimizer" feature, it will give you many options as for compression and image type. I use it for all my web images because it gives me the smallest image with the best quality possible.
gee everyone, thanks.
yep, got it and it was easy to do.
In corel-paint I clicked on Image > Resample. Then I changed it to pixels, keyed in 200 for the width and it resized it for me in porpotion.
Then i clicked on File > Web Image optimizer, a window poped up, left it as is and clicked save.
Looks good.
I'll get into more detail as i learn but for the web the image looks fine.
thanks again, Im a happy camper.
Great that it worked out well for you T-BOT :-)
Glad to be helping out.
