I have been using Corel Graphics Suite version 9 under windows-10 which I had obtained as an upgrade from Windows-7 and the only problem I'd noticed was that the eraser and other tools would 'jerk' up and to the left when activated by pushing the left mouse button.
I just re-installed windows-10, a clean install from an iso downloaded from MS and the first time I installed Corel Graphics Suite v9, everything seemed to work as it had under win-10 upgrade. Of course, the help wouldn't work so I applied a 'fix' involving a script run as admin. After that CGS wouldn't run until troubleshot for compatibility and run in win-xp SP3 mode. Now all seems to run but photopaint is FULL SCREEN with no minimize 'button' or resize button or menu toolbar.
I will try other compatibility settings because I think I saw that originally it was pre-XP.
Any help appreciated.

I have two machines, actually--an old Dell Vostro 1700 laptop with Windows 8 and a new Dell desktop (8700 XPS). I have both CorelDraw 12 and Photopaint 12 installed on the laptop and they work fine. This new machine will run Corel Draw 12, but when I start Photo Paint 12, it shuts down. I've tried compatability mode--same results. Any ideas for a workaround on this other than the obvious which is to buy new software. My website cricket games online http://cricketgaming.org/
I am having the same problem. I have a new dell Inspiron 5000 gaming laptop with windows 10 ... installed Corel graphics suite 12 and the photopaint will not run. My old vostro still has vista ultimate on it and it became glitchy running on there.. I could probably re-install it on that laptop and have it run. BUT, I am trying to use just the new laptop since obviously vista is not supported and I no longer want that computer connected to the internet.
Will you please let me know if you find a work around for the Photo Paint not running on windows 10? Thanks!
I think no coreldraw before Corelx5 will work in windows10
