Corel Draw Clipart

Hello,

Before i had my own version of Corel Draw, I had worked at a sign  company and they had corel draw also, but hey had this HUGE book full of cliparts or vectors. How do i find this , or where can i buy this.

I have just a few cliparts that came with my corel draw 12 which is a later version than what they had.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Sheri

The book of clipart probably was from a third party that specializes in selling clipart collections.

To find clipart on the i-net, google it in Google's image section, including images of dogs of various breeds.

    • The full samples of the clipart are in a book within each boxed version. In X3 it was 368 pages and in X4 384 pages.

I didn't get V12 so I'm not sure what its' contents were. To me, V9 has the best collection.

9 had some good stuff... But there was a lot of new items introduced in X3
and X4 in terms of good photos and new vector items (I've found a lot of use
out of the b/w icons in X4). Heck, I still have the old Corel MegaGallery
that was produced ca v6 or 7. The big issue with a lot of the vector/raster
clipart pieces is licensing. Many of the companies that produce the clipart
and then license it out to various graphics companies keep raising their
rates. At some point the companies that are paying the license fees have to
say "thanks, but that fee's too much now... perhaps we can reach an
agreement on price in the future".

I won a copy of Adobe's CS3 Web Premium Suite last year. I was aghast at the
pitiful amount of both fonts and clipart that came included with the suite.
About 100 pieces of clipart (raster/vector combined... many items were
"duplicated" between apps to make it look like you were actually getting
more), and maybe 20 fonts. How many other graphics suites are bundling in
over 1000 fonts and over 20,000 pieces of clipart than Corel these days?

Few years ago I bought a collection of clip art produced by Corel called "CorelGALLERY 1,000,000" which is composed of 14 CDs and a thick reference book. They are a huge amount of vectorized clip arts, photos, sound files, animated gifs, etc. All this along with a file manager, plus a program for simple editing of images (Photo-House). Unfortunately – I do not know the reason – it seems that Corel has no longer produced that collection. I think it's  not easy to get a version of this set, anyway contact Corel or try searching on the Web.

        • Important notes about this package files:

CorelGALLERY 1,000,000 never had the proper attention from Corel. Even when its release (if I remember correctly under Windows 98) never worked very well. The File Manager that comes with it is flawed and the organization of topics is very confusing.

CorelGALLERY should be a sales success of Corel, because of the great utility of the same, but Corel has sinned in general.

Nowadays, using this soft under Windows XP is almost a torture. Although still able to copy / import the files is quite common that program crash. And even more irritating is the silence of Corel not giving satisfaction to those who bought the product and are now destitute of support.

CorelGALLERY was my first disappointment with Corel's products. And I hope it's the last!
