I have been using coreldraw 12 for some time and all of a sudden the transformation docker, I usually get it to pop up with the alt F7 shortcut, does not come up. None of the ones listed under arrange, transformations will work. Have I accidently turned something off or what. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is the same. I am running windows 7
Thanks
Under options have you checked to see that the short cut is still set?
i don't see an option to set shortcuts under options. it still won't work even if i go to arrange, transformations, and click on the position link, or any of the other ones. rotate, scale and size. If i go to windows, dockers and transformations they won't open. very strange and since its on older product there is no tech support from corel. I love the program and have been using it for years, around 20, but their lack of support may force me to go elsewhere

From the menu: Tools->Options->Workspace->Customization->Commands. Look at the shortcut Keys tab, when you have the appropriate command selected from the Commands column. You can, also, assign a shortcut key to any command, here.
Thank for the help Hugh. I tried reasigning the shortcut, and giving it another shortcut and still no docker. As i have said, even if i go to arrange, transformation and click on the position or any of the dockers under transformation nothing happens. although it will show a checkmark next to it so it must think it is open. The strange thing is I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still happens. my next step will be to uninstall, sweep the registry of all corel links and then reinstall, unless someone can figure this out.
Your docker may be floating and located at a position that is off of the Windows Display area. By any chance, do you have a dual display? If so, what happens if you assign the secondary display to be in the right, left, top and bottom positions, do you find your docker, then?
Hi. upon having the same issue with my docker window (transform and contour) disappearing I came here to find a solution. Thank you for the help. I switched my monitors around and viola! It returned. Also I read that CorelDraw isnt compatible with Windows 7? I recently had that operating system installed on my computer at work. My fonts arent compatible for the most part. blank fonts showing up in my files. Upon further troubleshooting we just downgraded my system back to XP. Everything works fine as it was before the upgrade. I hope this helps someone else.
Nope It happened to me in XP.Its gone cant make it come up any more. BUT
Holding down F8 when you open CorelDraw is the secret key to resetting the factory defaults and that does it!!!
