Good Day,
I am having a problem when publishing a .cdr file to PDF. The image on the PDF is about 6% smaller than the original Corel File. In this case the border of the artwork was 66mm in Corel and the one in the PDF file was 62mm. Are there any settings / tricks to ensure that the PDF image is exactly the same as the original Corel file?
Many thanks in advance.
Gary
What size is your entire document?
Are you comparing the print outs or the screen to determine if it is smaller? If you are measuring off of a printed page, check the settings in your Acrobat Reader and see if the Page Scaling is set to 'Shrink to Printable Area'. That will reduce your size by about 6%.
Hi Rikk,
Many thanks for your reply!!
The design in question is a template for a Rubber Stamp (66mm x 45mm) - that is all that is on the page and we have the template centred on the page.
I was comparing the Corel image on the screen (dimensions from Corel = 66mm x 45mm) to that of the PDF print out (62mm x 42mm).
The page scaling looks like it is set by default to 'Reduce to Printer Margins' - is this what you are referring to? Should I change this to 'None'?
Many thanks for your assistance - I really appreciate it.
regards
If your page size is set to the Stamp's dimensions and your output Postscript Page Size is the same, this could be your problem. Set to None and reprint and measure.
