Hi all.
I know CD 12 is pretty old, but I still have this installed for some old files that I need to edit with this version.
Just wondering is there a way of recording a Drop shadow macro and editing the macro to set the drop shadow colour to match the object colour rather than the default black.
Cheers
Sark
Yes, it is possible.
OK. Maybe I should have asked. Is there a way of recording the action to create the code?.
The macro would be need to be programmed, unless perhaps you made all shadows a rich black. Still not ideal. I've made a shadow macro of my own which I and use often, that spits out shadows that I find delightful.
I suspected it would not be straight forward.
I currently use a macro to create a shadow that I commonly use, but I can only set a default colour, which I just leave as black and alter via the DS colour palette, or drag from the main palette to the DS well. It would have been nice to have it default to the object colour. It could also have been used to create a pseudo Gaussian blur effect macro.
Oh well... thanks for the reply.
Hi Sark, I think you want something like this:
