I would like a fragment of a text to look like it was made of a rope - more or less like on this photo (though not photorealistic, simpler and more graphic):
How can I do it? I'm not an advanced user, so I'll be grateful for precise instructions...

Like a "rope font"?
If so, how big of a fragment? one word? a sentence?
As if the text was made of a rope - a continous line made of a circular section that "bends" like a rope to make the words. It is one long word.
Is it clear now?
