Corel R.A.V.E

Does anyone know what happend to Corel R.A.V.E, i haven't used it since corel 12, but went to use it the other day and found out its not included with corel X3, is there a reason or am i missing something, looks like i'm going to have to install 12 again just so i can use R.A.V.E, has it been replaced by another product? i've had a hunt on corel.com but can't see anything that looks like the same or similar program.
  • That's right! I would assume you should only reinstall the RAVE
    component from 12.

Many of us do not uninstall previous releases, or at least don't
uninstall for a long time. Unlike many other software companies, Corel
products generally are very tolerant of multiple releases coexisting.

  • The last version of Corel R.A.V.E. was version 3 and was included in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12. You can install version 12 and version X3 side by side so that you can continue using R.A.V.E. from v12 and CorelDRAW / Corel PHOTO-PAINT from X3. Corel does not currently offer a similar program. SwishMax seems to be a software  popular by some of the CorelDRAW users to create Flash movies.
