There were some patches available at one time but I'm not able to find them anymore. I have recently installed X3 on a W7 machine and have so far found everything to work fine except for an issue of half of my fonts being blank when trying to choose one from the drop down menu. Existing files with these blank fonts also come up with the fonts completely missing as if the entire set of words was deleted. Here is the list of patches that I've heard is necessary for X3 to be compatible with W7....if anyone can find these, please share!
Below is a message from an older post:
I too have CorelDraw X3 on a Windows 7 machine, in order to get the best from it you will need to visit Corel's website http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/gb/en/Content/1153321224268?pid=1208716785680and install the following patches Service Packs and patches in this order, re-start after each:1. CGSX3 Hot Patch1.exe2. CGSX3SP1.msp3. CGSX3SP2.msp4. Font Nav Fix.msp ............. which will fix the problem with the Fontsand then run the program in Compatibility Mode with Windows XP+SP2

What is your curent Version Number. You may already have the Service Packs installed. Someone here may have what you need if not. Not sure the Packs will fix the problem since you are running on Windows 7..unless you can run under the XP compatibiliy mode.
It also appears that, according to the old post displayed in my first message, that the Font Nav Fix is the big one for me. Haven't ried XP compatibilty mode yet. Does that affect ALL my current programs, or can I just run X3 on it?
As far a I know, you can run only X3 in the XP compatibly mode if you so desire. You will have the have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate in order to run the XP Compatibility mode. Cannot tell you which way to go, but if you do not have 7 Pro, you will have to upgrade to it., or upgrading to Draw X5 may be a better way to go.
I've got W7 Home Premium for the time being...might do the upgrade to Pro. I'll continue to work with X5 for a few more weeks and see if I can get over all the unfortunate changes! There are some great additions to the program as well...can never figure out why they can't just leave things the way they are and simply add the cool new features!
Best of luck to you. Let us know how things work out for you.
Update....the SP2 patch and Font Nav Fix was a success (so far)...and I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with no XP partitioning. Thanks for all the help!
