Hi there,
I have a CorelDraw X3 drawing of the copper traces on an electronic circuit board. There is a large number of lines, some of which which join up in places but currently they are all separate objects. Is it possible to select all the objects which 'touch' so they can be grouped together?
An example might be best - in the portion below I'd like to be able to select all the objects which I have highlighted in white without selecting any of the other (red) ones which they do not touch.
Thanks for any help.
Edit / find and replace / find objects / ... select color and choose "white". When finished, a new window appears for select each object individually, but you can choose "Select All", then Group or what you need
Maybe I didn't explain very well but the white in the example was just showing what objects I wanted to select. In my real files they are all red!
Ideally I'd like to select an object then run a macro so that all the other objects which touch the selected one also get selected.

HI,
Can we see a wireframe view. I don't see any objects touching any others, unless it's just because of the same color fill.

As John said, that will be a good place to start.
Maybe I understand the question wrong.... but have you tried Holding the ALT key while clicking... this will select objects that are behind others on a layer.
yes, hold Alt key while drag an area around the objects seems the best solution (you must deselect the background, holding shift)
