Hi guys
A co-worker of mine using CorelDraw X3 suddenly has all of her text defaulting to 270degrees, so she's typing a vertical column of text (from bottom to top).
I've looked and looked and looked but I can't find any setting that pertain to this.
Is anybody able to help? For the first time working here, I'm absolutely stumped!
Thanks guys
KING
Hey K.I.N.G,
Have you had a peek at the little "Angle of rotation" box on the top tool bar when the text tool is selected? Does it say 270? Just a thought... simple things first.

The system sets it to that 270 degrees by default and there's no way to change it. It'd be very, very irriating to have to change it every single time you typed anything.
Holding the F8 button down as the program loaded fixed it for me, but all my custom palattes and settings had to be re-customized.
I'd recommend that to fix your problem.
I vaguely............very vaguely, remember this issue being discussed on another forum some time ago.
For the life of me, though, I can't remember how or if it was resolved.
Did you try changing that 270 degree default back to 0 and then then go to Tools, Save Settings as Default?
I know that that method sometimes helps when your Color Styles Docker gets all congested..........maybe it will work with this issue as well.
Worth a shot.
That simply doesn't work. I tried a bzillion ways and exhausted all options before resorting to coming here. The F8 solution will save a lot of headache, though still leave you with a few minor little ones that are far more easily remedied.
