Corel X3 Corel DrawWhen I draw a straight line, a line of text appears on the Status Bar (I think that's what it's called) showing me the DX: and DY: points and the Distance: but with ... after it indicating there is more information. I know that one of the bits of information I can't see is the angle of the line. How do I extend this information line so it shows me the extra info? (I'm particularly interested in the line angle) and How do I get this information line to stay on screen after I've clicked the End Point for the line? (Currently it reverts to 'curve on layer 1') as soon as I click the end point of the line)ThanksChris
Hi Chris,
I don't think Corel gives you the angle of the line that you have just drawn; however, you can draw a straight line and rotate it to the angle you need it to be by using the Rotate tool on the Property Bar or from the Transformation>Rotate Tab which I keep on my right side. Click the plus (+) icon to add/customize the property bar.
Hi Safia, Thanks for the reply. By way of clarification I've attached a screenshot showing the particular line of text.
You way won't work for me because I am trying to determine what a particular angle is, not create a particular angle.
Thanks
Chris
On my X3, I do see the information that you are talking about in the Status Bar:
I don't know if any of the settings for the Status Bar can be the reason for what you are seeing.
If you need to have the information remain visible, then you might do better to use the angular dimension tool.
