Hi everyone,
Please help me out in this, i am new to coral draw, and it would be really helpful in my work if i get this problem sorted out, I need to export the autocad file to corel draw file with the same scale . I have tried doing it many times but every time there are breaking of lines happening which is the real problem and then it takes me hours to again draw it on coral. i need to give my drawing for the cnc cutitng and the factory guys need it to be in the coral draw format. but i am unable to do it without any broken lines. Please suggest any solution for this. Thank you.

Hope this tutorial helps you.
Definitely some great tips there Anand and some I will try out - thank you sir!Anikta - you can also ask your production chaps who are supplying the ACAD filesto put a 1cm x 1cm or 1" x 1" reference block on the drawing then you caneasily see what is going wrong with 'scaling' between the programmeswhen you import.
You might be importing metric to imperial or vice versa. There should be an option in CorelDraw on import for "UNITS".
Anand - In my case I had most of the functionality of closing vector paths (of "X5" or "X6") when using X3 - this is because I was using Curveworks and other tools. I think thismeans I can qualify to have often been oblivious (or slightly ignorant) to ways of doing goodartwork or vectors via 'native' Corel menus.
Seemingly, Corel does get better and better with age - but they did take a while to catch up their main 'macro' developers and what they was doing with vectors. By that time i was 'sold' on macros and 'never looked back'. What I found with Curveworks like a lot of other macros is those simple buttons gave me all of the required "explode and join" features (that are often required to create good closed vectors),
Anikta - if you are interested in Curveworks and other macro tools to help you work'another way' in addition to all of the default Corel menus you can check some of them here:https://www.oberonplace.com/products/curveworks/ (only valid upto vs X7).A more upto date and similar tool but with a bucket load of featuresincluding an excellent and superb value DXF export is "ECUT"
http://macromonster.com/product/ecut-6-for-coreldraw-1-installation/
or http://eng.e-cut.ru/ .NOTE: I would personally buy ECUT from 'Jeff' and set up an account on Macromonster.comthen you have all your macros in one central "orders page" - which i find is really tidy. Hope this general info is of some use!
