I have often Coreldraw files with many pages inside and usually most recent page is last page
So when I open these documents I'd like to open to last page (e.g. page 16)
Is it possible ?
this can be done using macro
Thank you for your reply
Can you show me how can I do it please ?
To create empty GMS-file you have to locate GMS-folder inside CorelDraw X3 folders and create any empty txt-file, say mymacro.txt. Then just rename it to mymacro.gms. After this run CorelDraw, press Alt-F11, find your mymacro.gms, double click and type code above
Sorry but something went wrong
Created MyMacro.gms file to C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 13\Draw\GMS folder and typed the code but opening an existing file opens at first page
Is your last page the rightmost one in the list of pages?
yes.
In fact this is a 48pages file and page48 is the rightmost page
Changed VBA security to Low but nothing
and this the code
Try change ActiveDocument to Doc in second line
Perhaps loaded document not yet be considered an active document. You should get
Doc.Pages.Last.Activate
Last change worked and file opened to last page but today (after restart) file opens to first page again.
Any idea ?
may be, at the start of CorelDRAW, VBA did not load. Add one line to your code (Beep), its just sound beep (you may remove it later) to know is working VBA-macro or not
Beep
End Sub
And check Tools-Options-VBA
I mentioned this.
Open corel / click Alt+F11 to open VBA / close vba / double click to open my file > opens to last page
Open corel / double click to open my file > opens to first page.
For some reason VBA not load at the start of Corel
