Hello there,I'm using Corel Draw x3. I give a pantone color to my work. Colors explode after a while. So it's phosphorous. I get the same pantone code in the color box but the color is not the same. What could be the problem?
I tried to explain the problem on the visual
.
You are in RGB mode rather than CMYK mode
Yeah, that's the problem. Thank you. Is it possible that I can do this with a shortcut on the keyboard or with a key? Because I'm not going through the panel. It's happening all of a sudden.
CorelDRAW X3 is a quite old version, that doesn't include color profiles on document when save. For avoid this, you should upgrade (at least from X5)
Not being there to see what you're doing it's hard to tell what's happening. It could be system stress, Old files that were RGB will open as RGB, systems with limited resources may act weird.
CMYK is the X3 default color mode so somewhere you changed something to get RGB.
X3 is old and I do not have it loaded, under tools menu/color management the first dialog simply check color mode used for effects to CMYK. You may want to check and see that your using default settings if not make sure this is the only change you make.
I can't raise it yet. If I upgrade, the people I'm working with will be working in a lower version than me and this is a problem.
