I've got some basic CD knowledge. Now we got an engraving machine and myself and a coworker and I need to find a class in Tampa, FL. How do I find one, there's like 200 colleges here, and I'm sick of logging on to each and every college website, digging and digging, and coming up dry. It takes WAY too long. Isn't there a better way to find your local class list?
I use the CorelDRAW X3 DVD and will eventually use the X4 DVD as well. They're great. You get "bite sized" training in various techniques all very well organized on the disc. And there's lots of cool freebies (macros, etc.) as well.
I run the DVD on one screen and CorelDRAW (or PhotoPaint) on another and simply pause the DVD lesson to practice the lesson as it's being given.
Foster speaks to you as you watch a wmv of the whole Program screen as he executes the lesson.
To me they're better than live training 'cause I can go at my own pace, stopping and starting a particular lesson, and the training in general when I get "twitchy". And then go and do a repeat session if needed.
