Easy, There are two ways to achieve this:

You can, also, adjuste Tranceparency by dragging a color swatch between black and white to 'Interactive Tranceparency guide path'.
With this, black color means 100% tranceparency while white color is 0%tranceparency and so on..

And you are not limited to using black and white. You can use shades of gray it you wish to get some different effects.
