لدي سؤال للمبرمجين
لماذا عندما يكون برنامج
مفتوحا لمدة تتجاوز الساعتين يكون اداؤه منخفضا وغير مستقر وفي بعض الاحيان ينغلق فجأة
maybe it can be due to the virtual memory of the system (not the RAM). How much virtual memory do you have?
See My friend for attachmentsWhat am I doing now?
Obviously 2 Gb is not enough. I use 20 Gb at home and 50 Gb at work And that's a huge difference
The biggest problem is to understand how it works. While you are working, Windows use the virtual memory for storage temporary files. If Windows manages the system, it will increase the virtual memory according the needed. But if you're working with multiple objects and files, that's create a lot of temp files. Then, Windows should increase the Virtual memory several times. And while it's increasing the virtual memory, Windows stop Corel for a fractions of second... or several seconds. This is the moment when people believe "Corel is thinking", "CorelDRAW is slow down". Windows doesn't increase a big amount, only small steps, but sometimes it requires several seconds... and people believes "Corel is freeze". Well, really the program is waiting while Windows is increasing the virtual memory. But if you try to use the program, the program will crash (Windows doesn't allows to use it while the system is increasing the virtual memory).
Then, although most people complain against Corel, most of the times it's about system management
