Hi all, Im still trying to come to grips with corel photo paint, im currently printing out some photos that i have been working on, im printing these at A3 size, im adding a border to each picture that i do (via mask-outline border) is there a way of setting up a template or a shortcut so that i can import an image and it will fit to the size inside the border instead of me having to add mask to each picture then drag each side out, if that makes sense? Thanks for any help its very much appreciated Gordon
Assuming that the final size is 11.69" x 16.53" (A3) simply start a A3 size PP document of the same resolution as your images and fill it black. This can be saved as your A3 size template. Open your image copy and copy and past as another object into the black rectangle file drag to the size, (showing the border) save as a CPT file, flatten and print.
This can also be done in CorelDraw by importing the images into a properly sized CD document.
I forgot to tell you that you can set the background as black in PP when you start a new document (image)
Hi david, Thankyou for your informative reply, the finished prints are A3 in size yes, they have a 1/2 inch white border to these, if i did as you say but also add a small white border and then save it as a template is there then a way that i can then just add an image to the the template and for it to just fill in height and width to the black area and not going into the border without having to manually drag each side out? im just looking at a quick and easy way to do the few 100 photos i have.
