Hi everyone.
I use CorelCad with my 3D printer and have noticed that certain shapes are not as smooth as I would like. What I'm talking about is, for example, a sphere appears to be made up of sections rather than a smooth ball. Is there a setting in CorelCad to adjust this resolution? I can't find it.
By the way, the model in CorelCad also shows the sphere in this way.
Thanks for the help.
I don't have CorelCAD so I can't be sure that it works exactly the same. This is based on DraftSight which uses the same CAD engine as CorelCAD.
I assume you are drawing a 3d mesh sphere. If so, change the number of longitudinal & latitudinal surface segments from the default 16 segments to a higher number.
In DraftSight I would type 3d, Sphere, Center Point Location, Radius, Longitudinal #, Latitudinal #.
