Here's mine.. all done in Draw.
TIP: for refractive effects, consider the magnify or the fisheye lenses, as I've used here.

Hey, Jeff. I am missing #4 somehow...But nice Idea though. It's fun trying.
Oops, I can't count to 5 it seems. :-P
I've renamed to #4 - DOH!
Thank you!
Starting to love these challenges; good idea, Jeff : ) Hopefully the Corel moderators could create some sub-forum exclusively for Challenges.
This one took me longer as I had expected... about four or five hours (I had to experiment a bit), but I liked the end result. I retraced some old seventies pattern for the background, then used some shapes with blends for the grill on top of it. The text was another story: used a lot of duplicates; some of them I outlined and the outlines were converted to curves to give some thickness to the letters. I created a custom Artistic Media Brush for the borders of the text, just to simulate different reflections, dark and bright. After using some other duplicates at 100% with different colour gradients and transparencies, I threw in some almost rectangular shapes with gradient transparency to them and intersected them with the letters, so they would give the impression of reflections. The final touches were the shadows and highlights, which were drawn with the Freehand tool. Some blends helped me create the subtle sparks.
A bigger version, with slight modifications, can be found here.
