Is CorelDRAW going to recognize and treat AXt fonts as Arabic fonts?
A huge variety of excellent Arabic fonts are published in this format, and not available in other formats. CorelDRAW users who deal with Arabic text are incapable of benefiting from these fonts.
Designers who use Arabic text extensively can barely consider CorelDRAW as one of their tools.
They are vector fonts (TrueType Fonts).Arabic XT fonts are not Arabic fonts from the operating system point of view (MacOS or Windows). They use the ‘Mac Roman’ encoding; the Arabic glyphs are placed in place of the Roman glyphs. Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, Middle Eastern versions, recognize AXt fonts.I think AXT fonts were developed to work with Quark.
MS Word (Office 2003) does not recognize AXt fonts. How can I send you a TTF file?
Hello Tony,
Whenever you need "Arabic XT Fonts", I can send you few.
Thank you,
