im using windows 8.1, at first i have cdr x4 which is so slow copy paste-ing (i havent even colored yet) so slow like 1 hour without progress bcs its so slow and keep crashing , so i thought i'll try cdr x7
it is fast but, i cant get true color even after exporting to jpg. in cdr x4, the color changed to true color after exporting, but in cdr x7 all the color still looks washed out even after exporting, black looks grey. i think it's not my pc screen fault.
i try open the exported file with microsoft paint. and paint a black brush, on top of the washed out black, and i can see the 'black' difference. microsoft paint 'black' was more solid and vibrant.
please help me. the only reason i havent switched to adobe illustrator yet is bcs im more familiar with cdr tools. but i cant do my assignment properly if this continues
Seems you're working on X4 with RGB colors (more brilliant, but for screen only) and when open the file with X7 you're using CMYK color mode (darker colors, less bright, for professional printing devices). If you don't need to sent to print, change color mode to RGB (under Tools / color management / document propierties). If you need to send to a printing company you should change colors to CMYK

check if your file has too much saved views (Ctrl+F2), too much Text & Graphic Styles (Ctrl+F5) or too much color styles (Tools / Color Styles)
it's like this, im drawing the file just yesterday using cdr x7, the color looks dull while drawing, and still dull even after exporting
i draw many other files before when im using cdr4, it looks dull while drawing, but the color changed after exporting.. it becomes much vibrant..
already tried the RGB mode.. but still not working.. i dont know why
is there any step ive missed?
You are working on RGB mode, but it seems to me that you are using CMYK color palette when drawing rectangle and on Color Management Settings an option Preserve Pure black is unchecked, i.e. CMYK black is exported as RGB 26, 26, 26 instead required 0,0,0.

I agree with Mek, also when Export as JPG don't miss to enable "embed color profile".
on "Rendering intent" I suggest you to change to "Perceptual"
