The Virtual Segment Delete Draw.
Select the virtual segments and click "Draw" (or hit Enter) to draw a separate object from the selected segments.
I created the guide shapes in the image below; I only have to pick the segments I want :'(
I just heard that you can select segments or nodes in Illustrator and copy paste them; beautiful. :) and :'(
