Have you ever wanted to try your hand at pixel art?  You can actually do it in CorelDRAW and in vector too.  The first thing you need to do is select the Graph Paper tool (Toolbox > Graph Paper). Once that tool has been selected, in the Property bar you can specify how many columns and rows you want.  I prefer to use the same number of columns as rows so that if I hold down the Ctrl-key while drawing the table, each cell will be a perfect square.  Then you can select the newly created table, and go to Object > Group > Ungroup (CTRL+U).  This will turn the grid into individual squares that you can individually apply color to.  I like to use the Eye Dropper Tool to help apply color to the individual squares.
