Create a circle or ellipse. Select the Shape tool (F10) and start dragging the node.

  • If you drag the node with mouse cursor inside the object, it will always create a Pie object.
  • Dragging the node on the outside of the object with the mouse cursor, instantly toggles to Arc mode.
