Here are some handy keyboard shortcuts that you can use when working with texts.

  • You can change the text kerning in steps of 5% when two or more characters are selected. Use Ctrl + Shift + > to increase kerning and Ctrl + Shift + < to decrease kerning between characters.
  • Quickly toggle text from Artistic to Paragraph mode or vice-versa by pressing Ctrl+F8
  • While in text edit mode:
    • Ctrl+B – Make selection bold
    • Ctrl+I – Make selection italic
    • Ctrl+U – Apply underline to selection
    • Ctrl+Shift+C – Toggle Non-printable characters Show/Hide
    • Shift+F3 – Change case
    • Alt+F3 – Find text
    • Ctrl+L – Set align mode to left
    • Ctrl+R – Set align mode to right
    • Ctrl+E – Set align mode to center
    • Ctrl+N – Set align mode to none
    • Ctrl+J – Set align mode to full justify
    • Ctrl+2 (Numpad) – Decrease font size in step of 1
    • Ctrl+8 (Numpad) – Increase font size in step of 1
    • Ctrl+4 (Numpad) – Decrease font size in steps as per font size dropdown
    • Ctrl+6 (Numpad) – Increase font size in steps as per font size dropdown
