Is it possible to disable the auto-panning feature in Photo-Paint?

After manually panning a viewing window to show the edge or corner of and image in Photo-Paint, zooming in/out or copying/pasting objects causes the viewing window to automatically pan back to a maximum view. Not sure I'm describing this correctly, so I've attached a before and after screenshot below.

Before Zoom:

After Zoom:

Can this be disabled? It's so dang frustrating to have to MANUALLY PAN over and over again to keep the image edge or corner in the center of the viewing window. ARG!

  • Hi Myron, I appreciate your response for sure, but I don't recognize the options window your referring to. My issue is with Corel PHOTO-PAINT specifically, and there doesn't seem to be any settings I can change regarding how the pan/zoom features work.

I do use the mouse wheel for zoom in/out, but when I do the corner of my image instantly resets to the corner of the workspace, which is why I have to continually pan that corner back to where I had it. Arg.
