Powertrace and outline

Hi,

I just purchased X7 64 bits and I'm surprised that the powertrace function still have the same problem of white outline.

With X4, I used "Jeff's Outline Color Same as Fill" macro to fix that problem. But this macro has a warning message at the end with X7 64 bits (but it works...).

So, is there a version of this macro for X7 64 bits ? Will the corel team fix that problem in the future ? How do you deal with this problem of outline ?

Can you write down the exact steps you do?
Maybe publish print screens?

Hi

I just click on the powertrace button (and I obtain the image "powertrace" below, with the white outline). The I run JH macro and I get the warning message...

Can you or have tried in X7 without Jess macro? I ask because you wrote in your answer that you use Jeff in X7. If k am not miss understand.

The outline is a problem of screen display anti-aliasing. changing view modes proves this.

I'm pleased the author of this macro replyed ;)

Well, you said it's just a screen display problem.
For me It's also a problem for printing as the outlline appears on the print.
Sometime I use powertrace to convert a small bitmap in vector, enlarge the vector and then convert it to bitmap again (in order to get a big bitmap). In that case for example, the outline are visible...
That's why your macro is very usefull. And I hope you will find the time to update it for X7 64 bits.
I also think that powertrace should do it natively (without the need of a macro) as other program (vector magic, illustrator).
